WHAT ARE THE CLASSES LIKE?

For Kids & Teens: 

  • Classes held weekday mornings, 5 days a week.

  • Lessons include mixture of speaking, writing and grammar skills, with focus on the language they will need in afternoon activities and excursions.

  • Average 10-15 students per class.

For Adults: 

  • General language classes held Monday to Friday mornings.

  • Optional special interest / skills classes (eg report writing, language for business, exam preparation etc) and private 1-to-1 lessons available in the afternoon.

  • Average 6-12 students per class.

ACTIVITIES & EXCURSIONS

For Kids & Teens:  

  • Weekdays:  teacher-led and activities every afternoon and evening, including off-campus visits to local shops and attractions to put language into practice.

  • Weekends:  full-day excursions to famous cities, amusement parks and other places of interest.

 

For Adults: 

  • Weekday afternoons & evenings:  choice of additional classes, school-led local visits / cultural activities or your own free time to explore

  • Weekends:  either join a school-organised day trip or activity adventure, do some local sightseeing or simply relax in the city and chat with the locals.

ACCOMMODATION & FOOD

For Kids & Teens: 

  • Junior holiday programmes are all-inclusive of lessons, meals, accommodation, excursions etc.

  • Secure, on-campus single-rooms or dormitories. Family homestay option available for older teens.

  • Excellent choice of healthy food at mealtimes.

For Adults:  

  • Choice of accommodation available at most schools, including: school residence, nearby apartments, hotels and family homestay etc.

  • Option of single room or shared accommodation.

  • Catering options depend on individual school and type of accommodation selected.

GO IN A GROUP   or   INDIVIDUAL TRAVEL?

Going in a group:

Travelling with friends or in a school group is really great fun! However, you must remember to make a special effort to practise your newly-acquired language skills outside the classroom too; otherwise your learning will be limited to just 3 hours a day, 5 days a week!

Individual travel: 

If you (or your child) enrol on an overseas language course on your own, it will certainly be more challenging. However, you will be using the target language 24 hours a day, 7 days a week - so your progress will be very rapid! 

 

LEARNING A LANGUAGE WHERE IT'S SPOKEN .....

  • Who wouldn't love to communicate effectively in another language?! The benefits are plentiful: for school and exams; at work; for travel; for relationships etc.

  • And, without question, the best way to learn is to immerse yourself in the language: learning it in the classroom; living it outside the classroom; and loving every minute of it!

  • By enrolling on a course in a country where the language is spoken, you will be amazed at how rapidly you improve - in your listening, your speaking, your pronunciation - in everything.
